Perhaps it was a tiny bit weird, but Kazuha was interested in these 'crack pot' theories of one Denzel Crocker. She'd always been interested in stuff like that, often believing them instinctively until Heiji called it stupid. However, that part of her was pretty much dashed to bits after meeting a real witch from her world.

So it would be good to know some 'real' information about them. Especially if there was a way to deal with them in case she had to fight one that wasn't so nice.

...well, it could happen, couldn't it?

So after thanking the worldhopper, she walked down the block to the Elementary school. She looked around as she stepped onto the school grounds. Deserted. Always seemed so weird a place that was so busy during the week can be so empty.

"Now, where's Crocker-san?" She murmured, looking around.

"Anti-fairies? What's an anti-fairy?" Kazuha asked curiously.

She stopped when Crocker did, looking over his shoulder into the teacher's lounge. She frowned and shot a glare at the teachers before following Crocker, not even waiting to see how they'd respond. "They're setting a bad example," she said, frowning deeply.

(Sorry about net cut me off and aim refuses to log me back on unless I reboot >:)

"What else did you think caused 'bad luck', now?" Crocker questioned her.

Denzel blocked whatever Kazuha had said out. As in his mind he mauled over and over New World Order, New World Order. Before halting in front of his locker, checking to see if anyone was around, placed the device into a pocket so he could put in the locker combination, blockng that as good as he could with his body. Then with a 'click' the locker opened, stepped behind it, still holding the door, waved his hand, signaling for her to step in. "After you."

Eyeing continuingly that no one else was watching.

"Karma? Some spirits?" Kazuha said. She never really thought about it too much.

Kazuha was fuming in her mind at the teachers. Really, it was one thing to think someone was insane, but to mock them like that? It just wasn't good. What sort of message were they sending to the kids?

Kazuha stared as he opened the locker, raising an eyebrow? She stepped forward, looking inside. "Is there something in here?" She asked, not quite stepping inside. It looked like a normal locker.

"Well, fairies are in a sense spirits." Was the dry reply.

Minus the doodles, Crocker had taped to the wall of his locker like some child, all of fairies and wands, it did look rather normal. Unless, you happened to notice there was a button tucked away inside.

"Yes, it's the entrance to the Crocker Cave." Whispering over to her, and signaled with his head for her to step in all the way, still eyeing around the hallway.

"Well, that's true, I guess. But I meant more Shinto spirits," Kazuha commented.

"The...Crocker Cave?" Kazuha said. Well, that sounded weird. But there was a button...

And this mental was weak enough she was pretty sure she could get herself out if she needed.

So she stepped into the locker, pressing the button curiously.

Denzel shrugged, he wasn't about to question someone's religious. Besides, he knew he was right after all.

"Shhhhhhhh." Was the sharp whisper acting as if they where in fact in the library. He watched her step in and then push the button, as the floor opened and shallowed her. Darting his head, cautiously, with a few raised brows and shifting eyes, followed her as Crocker slammed his locker door behind him.

As he fell down though the tube into the Crocker Cave, that was built underneath the school, and we wonder where all his money from his teacher's salary has gone.

Landing with a 'thud' on blue metal, which he was use too by now, eyed over for Kazuha as he flipped on a light switch slowly engulfing the Crocker Cave with some light.

"Should I give you the tour before we get started?"

His hands raised and finger tips pressed against one another lightly.

His wrist watch beeped again. "Time to feed the FAIRY!!!!" As he spazzed again a bit at the end there.

Kazuha, like any sane person would, screamed as she suddenly found no ground beneath her.

"Oof!" She grunted as she hit the floor, hissing in pain. She was not used to hitting metal after falling from the end of a slide.

"You need cushions..." Kazuha muttered, sitting up and rubbing her legs.

She looked up at the beeping. "You...have a fairy?"

"You learn to land on your feet after awhile." Not that it mattered much to Crocker, he hurt himself during his spaz attacks falling from a slide was gentle. It was also usual, as well to have guests down here.

"YES!" He replied exicted with glee, so much his hair once again flew a few feet into the hair and his eyes crossed.

"But it's not a FAIRY GOD PARENT!" This time pullig a mallet out of nowhere hitting himself on the head with it.

"Just a fairy. From another world. Follow me." As he lead in that direction, almost dinosaur like.

"Gonna kill your knees," Kazuha said, pushing herself up. It wasn't like she wasn't used to pain. Just falling wasn't normal.

How did his hair keep doing that? Kazuha wasn't sure she wanted to know.

"....you do know you just hit yourself with a mallet, right?" She asked.

She nodded and followed. Well, it would be cool to see a fairy.

Crocker stared at Kazuha, twindled his fingers, smiled creepy as if he was saying 'oopie'. He wasn't exactly aware he had just done that. It did after all start quickly and end quickly without any conscience decision on his part.

Then directed her over to a corner of the Crocker Cave, past the library of myth and legend books. To a table, where a glass fishtank that was horizontal set up, the only opening at the top where a large butterfly net was placed, tightly over it, inside the bark and leaves Crocker had gather where he had gotten her, was the fairy (http://www.silindor.com/images/dolls/lith/fantasy/leaf-fairy.gif).

"You do understand that anything that is said or seen in here is classified, correct?"

There were times...Kazuha was glad she could topple a man three times her size. This was one of them because she was starting to wonder if Crocker really was unhinged. Even if in a matter that wasn't him believing in fairies.

"She's beautiful," Kazuha murmured, leaning close to see the fairy better. "And I know," she replied to Crocker. As long as he didn't seem dangerously unhinged anyway.

"What's with the butterfly net?"

From: [identity profile] crackpotcrocker.livejournal.com
"Well, to keep her from flying away of course." Crocker stated this as if it was obvoius, as he gathered the nuts, berries and fruit pieces, carefully, removed a small potion of the butterfly net and dumped that inside and replaced the net tightly. "Butterfly nets are one of the few things fairies cannot penetrate."

The fairy hunter said as he grabbed his clipboard and scibbled on it.

"Really? Maybe fairies are related to bugs somehow?" Kazuha said. Some sort of instinctual fear that won't let them fight the net?

"Actually," Crocker went to correct Kazuha, "I believe it to have something to do with the compounds of the net and the weaving. Because.." He tapped the top of his pen on the glass. "They can't penetrate that either." His voice trailed off with a quick creepy smirk before he finished scibbling and placed the clipboard on the desk along side of the fairy. "Care for some shrimp puffs?"

"Is there a similar weave with the glass and butterfly net?" Kazuha asked curiously.

"Shrimp puffs? Sure, why not?" She said, offering him a polite smile. He really did have a creepy smile.

"Yes,actually. If you magenify them both under a microscope, thousands of times you can see simliaries." Which got old crock pot thinking back to a post he stalked. If one could keep an outsider,'world hopper' out by those means somehow... In theory, it should work. Since the 'world hopping' appears to done mainly by magic. But one cannot encase a whole world within glass or butterfly net... Perhaps, this would be a better way of trapping the world hoppers instead. Crocker was so wrapped up in his train of thought he almost missed the reply. "Oh, great! I'll get them!" He smiled creepy once more as he went off to fetch the shrimp puffs from the frig. As he did he noticed something strange. A phrase here meaning that being with another person felt GOOD! Prehaps, it was because Kazuha didn't think Denzel was a 'crock pot' for his ideas and beliefs. Or prehaps, it was she kindly pointed out his spazzing. Or just maybe it was the fact she didn't right away go; Eww. Shrimp puffs are gross. Smirking to himself, brought over the dish shrimp puffs rested, offering her some.

"Really? That's kind of cool, that glass is like that," Kazuha said. No, she didn't think Crocker was crazy for his beliefs. Probably crazy from being called crazy. People would snap eventually under that sort of thing.

So she was going to be careful about him unless he proved dangerous. Being crazy wasn't too bad if you didn't hurt others.

Kazuha stood up straight when Crocker came back, picking up a shrimp puff. "Thanks," she said, taking a bite. Hm, not as good as some fish dishes, but not that bad.

Crocker was delighted she eatting the shrimp puffs. As she did questioned her; "Care to look around the Crocker Cave some more or ask me more questions, regarding FAIRIES!?" Spazzing only slightly as Denzel was able to recapture the dish back in his palms. Either worked for Crocker. Just as long as she didn't find his stockfull of plans to destroy, Turner.

Kazuha looked at the fairy and then around. "Well, we can talk about fairies too while you show me around? I've never been in a secret underground...cave? Lair?" What does one call such a place other than a lair or cave? But she always thought of rocks for a cave.

"How did you afford this anyway?"

"Excellent!" Crocker popped in a shrimp puff for himself, chewed and shallowed as he walked over to the table where the fairy rested in her glass tank placing the platter down. However, upon inspection saw the fairy had 'vanished.' "Oh, no you don't I'm onto you." Knowing very well the fairy was just playing a trick, by being invisble, so Denzel would take off the butterfly net. The fairy soon reappearing in a pout. Then Crocker guided Kazuha and himself to his library. That contained everthing from books on Fairies to Dragon Lore to Ancient Greece to folklore to Children's Bedtime stories and everything in between. Some of the books looking rather old and ancient themselves. "My teacher's salary." Was the reply.

At the vanishing act, Kazuha began to wonder how sentient the fairy was, but was quickly led away before she could think more about it. She looked at all the books in surprise. "You've read all these?" She asked, scanning some of the titles.

"Your salary? You must get paid more than the rumors say. Though I can see how you couldn't afford the doctors," Kazuha commented. All this HAD to be expensive.

"Well of course." Crocker stated as if it wasn't obvoius he had. Spreading his arms out as he spoke. "After all... How else would I gone about writing my one thousand page thesis in college?" Stating that entire sentence in complete distastement. Before finishing with spazz as said; "On FAIRY GOD PARENTS!!" Denzel found himself pulling one side of cheek with his fingers, shortly after releasing. As the man continued on. "You see in order to understand 'fairies'." Crocker qouted with his fingers. "One must understand all of it. It's all interconnected like the food web. In fact the word 'fairy' doesn't just mean mythological creature with wings and wands. Rather, the word 'fairy' can refer to any mythological creature." He paused for a moment replying rather darkly as he twindled his fingers; "Well, it will all be worth it in the end." Hobbies come before after all. "Shall we move on?"

"A thousand pages?" Kazuha asked with wide eyes. She couldn't even imagine writing that much.

"...you know, I'm gonna see what I can find out about that seizure thing," Kazuha said. It was really troubling.

She looked at all the books as he explained. "Well, when you put it like that, you'd almost have to to really get to know them. Trying to find the common string between all the stories to find the truth."

She nodded. "Sure."

Crocker nodded, with the look of failment all over his face as he recalled that presenting his 'crack pot' theory to the goverment and renoned scientists. Second worse day of his life. Then gumbled at her next statement; "No more needles." There was a short pause before he said;"Exactly." Agreeing with Kazuha. Then singled her to follow him towads the NASA sized telescope and stopping. "This telescope is special. For it can detach MAGIC! Lightyears away. It's, I, Mr.Crocker's belief, that fairies come to Earth from somewhere out there in that vast void of space."

"Guessing the thesis didn't go well, huh?" Kazuha asked, looking a bit sad to hear that. And when he put so much work into it and still be insulted.

"What was that?" Kazuha asked. She didn't quite catch the needle comment.

She followed him to the telescope, her eyes widening in awe. "It can?!" She asked. "Can I see?" She asked, nodding in agreement with his idea. It wouldn't be that illogical, really. It would explain why magic wasn't around more, if it wasn't native.
